David Beckham’s surprise appearance at his sister’s 30th birthday highlighted the kind of winning combinations that white cotton shirts can provide men today.
Beckham has been in the UK over the Christmas holidays visiting family with his wife Victoria and their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper Seven.
However it was his appearance at sister Joanne Beckham’s 30th birthday party that has caught the most attention in the last few days, with the former Manchester United man causing a stir at the bash.
Held in the modern Japanese restaurant of Roka in Fitzrovia, central London, Beckham appeared wearing an elegant light grey v-neck jumper and formal white shirt done up to the collar.
Sporting his slicked - back hairstyle, the 36-year-old was his usual picture of style and sophistication, helped no doubt by the clean simplicity of his outfit combination.
Joanne Beckham even took to her twitter account to express joy at David and company’s effort for her birthday.
“Aww turned up at my fav restaurant and can't believe my close friends and family was here !!!! Amazin !!! So happy,” she tweeted.
