Cruise wears two quality men's shirts in one day

Action star Tom Cruise was lucky to have a number of on-trend performance men's shirts to hand on a visit to London this week.

The actor made time in his busy schedule to visit the set of BBC Two's Top Gear, where he took the "reasonably priced car" for a spin around the track.

While Cruise - who starred in racing film Days of Thunder - may have had little trouble clocking up a good time, he made sure he chose one of his practical men's shirts to wear behind the wheel.

He teamed a green utility shirt with jeans while attempting to beat his co-star in Knight and Day Cameron Diaz's time.

This may not have proved too difficult, as Diaz was forced to pull over during her lap after the gearbox reportedly broke.

Later that evening, the pair hit the red carpet for the film premier, with Cruise still wearing jeans but teaming them with a pale blue shirt.

Elsewhere, Orlando Bloom may have been getting through his own collection of formal shirts rapidly this month, after visiting Kent University to pick up an honorary degree and then tied the knot with girlfriend Miranda Kerr just a week later.
