Daniel Craig stays cool in cotton shirts during James Bond filming

30 Jan 2012

Daniel Craig looked his usual dapper self, thanks in no small part to the usual mix of fine suits and mens shirts that are synonymous with James Bond.

Actor Daniel Craig's love of fine mens shirts is unlikely to abate during the filming of the new James Bond film entitled Skyfall.

The film marks Craig's third appearance as the iconic secret agent following star performances in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

Craig last played Bond in 2008, but production on the series was halted in 2010 following financial difficulties for studio MGM.

However, after resolving its issues MGM and Sony Pictures announced that the film's production was back on, with a release date of October 26th 2012 set for the UK and Ireland.

With a production budget of $150 million, this Bond film could well be the best yet with critically acclaimed director Sam Mendes already confirmed at the helm.

Craig's Bond will have to be at his very best too, after No Country for Old Men star Javier Bardem was also confirmed as the film's principal villain.

Filming for this latest Bond epic has already begun too, with the Daily Mail publishing images from weekend filming on the set of the production

In the images, Craig is seen, wearing the usual formal shirts associated with the character, embarking on a spectacular stunt involving a Range Rover.

While details on the plot of the new Bond epic remain scarce, a statement released by the studio provided the following details: "Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."

With Joseph Fiennes also confirmed to appear in the film and plenty of fine cotton shirts likely to be on display, this is one Bond film you may not want to miss.
