Eli Roth shows how to wear formal shirts

Film director Eli Roth gave a masterclass in how to work formal men's shirts at a recent red carpet event.

He attended the London premiere of The Last Exorcism with his girlfriend Peaches Geldof, who chose a clingy Dolce & Gabbana leopard print dress for the occasion.

Roth, 38, showed how white men's shirts can be worn to look smart for any occasion, as he teamed his with a grey suit with matching button-down waistcoat and a dark tie.

He finished his outfit with a pair of classic black shoes, shined to perfection.

As well as the launch of his new film, Roth was also celebrating his six-month anniversary with 21-year-old Geldof.

Earlier that day she tweeted: "It's Eli Roth and my six-month anniversary tonight and the night of The Last Exorcism London premiere - a lovely evening indeed."

The director is also known for producing movies such as Cabin Fever, Hostel and Grindhouse.
