Mens shirts could help guys find romance this winter

Guys who are looking for love could find that now is the perfect time to add some new mens shirts to their wardrobe and head out on some dates.

With the festive season now in full swing males could find they have the perfect excuse to go out and get chatting to new people, which should at very least lead to them having a little fun and possibly more.

Commenting on this, dating expert at Davidwygant.com David Wygant suggested that dating in the run-up to Christmas is "fun", providing that expectations are kept at realistic levels.

"It's a great time of year to have a fun date - a date where you can go window shopping, check out the decorations, go have some hot cocoa, go and look at the Christmas tree decorations in the local park [or] even go caroling and get all goofy," he said.

Mr Wygant added that people should start thinking about the "magic of Christmas" and push any negative thoughts they may have about not having a partner to take home with them to the back of their minds.

For those in Britain this time of year is likely to mean that there is a chill in the air, which could make good quality mens cotton shirts a great option to have in the wardrobe.

These could be worn under a jumper and blazer for a look that is smart and practical for both indoors and outdoors.

One male who pulled this style off successfully is Tom Cruise, who wore a checked shirt, jumper and navy blue blazer as he attended the premiere of Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol at BFI Imax in Waterloo, London.

The actor - famed for movies including Top Gun, Jerry Maguire and Minority Report - seemingly made the right choice of outfit as he spent time chatting to fans on the red carpet despite the chilly conditions.
