The recent appearance of Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom has raised more than a few eyebrows in the world of fashion – could fine men's shirts provide a solution?
Set to reprise his role of Legolas in the upcoming Hobbit big screen adaptation, recent weeks have seen Orlando Bloom fail to maintain his traditionally smart public appearance.
After all, there was a time, not too long ago, when the 35-year old was known for his smart and stylish appearance, helped no doubt by his fine English sensibilities.
Hailing from the traditional cathedral city of Canterbury in Kent, Bloom's career exploded following his performance in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, with subsequent roles in Pirates of the Caribbean and Kingdom of Heaven cementing his stardom.
Hollywood may have gone to his head though, after the British star was photographed looking a little too relaxed for our liking.
Stepping out in West Hollywood yesterday (January 26th), Bloom sported a black t-shirt and jacket with dark purple tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Far from the image originally associated with the actor, the outfit was garish and sloppy to say the least, particularly for someone so often in the public eye.
Scarily, it was the second time in recent weeks that Bloom was spotted out and about in less-than-flattering attire.
Earlier this week, he was seen in a similar black t-shirt and jacket combo with black tracksuit bottoms proving his garment of choice.
On this occasion though, it was his accessory that proved most bizarre, with Bloom sporting a retro telephone handset on a cord around his neck.
These outfits were not the sort usually associated with the husband of Australian model Miranda Kerr either, who continues to look effortlessly chic.
All may not be lost for Bloom though, with a simple perusal of the Eton Shirts sales likely to provide plenty of solutions.
Providing everyday style alongside a classically defined look, fine cotton shirts provide the perfect solution to the everyman's everyday style needs.
Whether worn in their more formalised shape or opting to roll up sleeves and undo buttons for a casual style, a fine shirt can make a fine fashion piece.
Bloom could well benefit from the range of contemporary styles and shapes on offer in the Eton sale collection too.
One prime example is the green, blue and white check single cuff mens shirt design. Presented in a classic fit style with moderate cutaway collar, this is a fine example of the way in which shirts can bridge the gap between smart and casual.
Alternatively, Bloom may be inclined to opt for the classical red twill stripe single cuff shirt that comes in a classic fit with the more traditional button down collar.
Offering a more vintage fashion style, this could be the perfect shirt for the Canterbury boy, harking back to the more traditional English fashion.
With both shirts available at £59 each, these striking cotton designs are just some of the fine examples of menswear on offer to help Orlando Bloom again.
