Mens shirts may prove useful for Chicago trips

Picking up a selection of new mens shirts might be a wise investment for those hoping to take an overseas break.

Gents heading to Chicago may find their purchases prove particularly useful as it is a city that boasts a great number of theatres.

Cathleen Domanico, the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau's executive director of tourism, said: "It's been said it has to run in Chicago before it goes on in New York. The Guardian actually wrote a couple of years back that Chicago rivals [New York] for theatre."

She added that nightlife, shopping, dining, architecture and culture are some of the city's major draws for visitors, all of which could make packing a good selection of mens cotton shirts a sensible decision.

Good quality shirts might also prove popular with those heading on trips to colder climes, as cruise-international.com Adam Coulter recently suggested many people are heading on trips to the Arctic as they believe it is a "last chance" to do so, due to climate change.
