Murray poses in formal shirts for Vogue shoot

Andy Murray has shown off his style credentials by posing in formal shirts, tux and a bow tie for a recent shoot with fashion magazine US Vogue.

The Scottish tennis star is seen posing for the photographer Mario Testino, with one shot showing him sitting on a changing room bench in the smart tuxedo.

However, the formality ended at his ankles, as he wore a pair of scuffed, white sneakers.

In another shot Murray is seen to have abandoned his men's shirts altogether, in favour of a pair of jeans and a black weighted vest that he uses for training.

The sportsman is currently preparing for the US Open and this week beat off competition from Ernests Gulbis in the third round of the Cincinnati Masters.

If the recent pictures are anything to go by, Murray certainly has the physique to see him claiming the prize at the US Open.
