New mens shirts could give guys a look fit for royalty

Peter Kay's smart look at the Royal Variety Performance in Salford on Monday (December 5th) evening could inspire other gents to pick up some new mens shirts to ensure they look their best on a big night of their own.

While it is unlikely most guys will have to address an audience of thousands anytime soon, they could do worse than replicate the Bolton-born funnyman's ensemble next time they head to a formal occasion.

Kay wore a black suit and waistcoast and completed the outfit with a white shirt and black tie as he compered the event, which saw performances from the likes of Cee-Lo Green, Barry Manilow and Nicole Scherzinger.

Those seeking mens cotton shirts might also take inspiration from Hollywood star Ashton Kutcher as he looked slick in a checked shirt, grey suit and gold tie at the premiere of his latest movie New Year's Eve earlier this week.
