Robbie Williams and friends 'choose formal shirts for wedding'

Formal shirts, suits and ties were the outfits chosen by the male guests at the recent nuptials of Robbie Williams and his long-term partner, actress Ayda Field.

Despite being known for his wild side after leaving Take That and frequently being snapped wearing a tracksuit alongside the Gallagher brothers in the late 90s, smart men's shirts were the chosen attire when it came to the singer's special day.

Pictures in the Daily Mail see the Rock DJ and Angels singer wearing a black suit, waistcoat and white shirt, while his bride wore a white gown with corset and flowers in her hair.

The couple tied the knot at Williams' mansion in Beverly Hills, although his Take That friends were not among the guests due to the short notice of the ceremony.

Earlier in the month, Bill Clinton got suited and booted to walk his daughter Chelsea down the aisle, where she exchanged vows with investment banker Marc Mezvinsky.
