Men's Shirts and Gadget NewsShould guests buy party shirts especially for weddings?6 Aug 2010
Wedding gusts in the UK may be finding that the cost of attending such a celebration is increasing, as they may even have to purchase party shirts especially for the occasion, it has been claimed. Giles Fraser, writing for the Daily Mail, was commenting on the nuptials of a couple he heard about recently, where guests were expected to wear head-to-toe white, while the bride and groom wore scarlet to stand out. "Those who didn't have a white suit or white shoes handy would presumably have had to go out and buy some," he explained. Indeed, Mr Fraser claimed that modern weddings are a "travesty" that have turned into celebrations of the ego, in addition to expecting guests to fork out in order to join in, such as by taking a flight overseas to watch their friends tie the knot or buy new men's shirts in order to fit a colour scheme. He added that the best ceremonies are those that are simple, where the love for the bride and groom is clear to see. Elsewhere, recent research by Mercure Hotels found that one in six brides-to-be admit to falling out with their partner while planning their big day. Related News: Men's Shirts News Latest News...
