Tips for packing men's shirts on holiday

29 Jul 2010

When packing men's shirts to go on holiday, gents have been offered some advice on how to make sure their suitcase is not too heavy to handle.

TV stylist Brix Smith-Start, who was a member of The Fall before opening her own clothing boutique, advised people only to take one set of warmer clothes if they are going somewhere hot.

She also said there is no need to bring heavy raincoats as a lightweight umbrella will suffice.

Giving some thought to clothes in advance is a good idea, as this can help to keep the weight of a suitcase down.

"Just really think about what you are going to wear, try and plan your outfits before hand and make sure you use multi-functional items," Ms Smith-Start continued.

Crease free shirts may also be a great option for anyone jetting off on holiday who does not want to spend time ironing when they reach their destination.
