With short hair and men's shirts, has R-Patz grown up?

He has starred in two of the biggest teen movie franchises of all time - Harry Potter and Twilight - but while his fans may be young, Robert Pattinson's style is maturing, as he increasingly steps out in men's shirts and suits.

In addition, GQ magazine reports that he also has a new, grown-up hairstyle, despite his previous, messy barnet making him a "modern-day Samson" with his fans.

On a recent television appearance, the Brit actor dressed smartly in his now trademark button down collar shirts, teamed with a grey suit and slim black tie.

And Pattinson also showed off a new shorter hairstyle, after cutting it for his part in forthcoming movie Water For Elephants.

GQ comments: "Now that we've got over the shock, we think it's a good look - dare we even say an improvement?"

Indeed, the magazine was so impressed it even asked a hairstylist for tips on recreating the style.

At the premier of the latest Twilight premier Eclipse, Pattinson showed off his style in a red suit by designer Gucci.
